No fewer than 7 pilots from the Paris – Ile de France league team were registered for the Piment Paragliding Open competition. Mehdi, the team manager, contacted Aquilae – Performance Paragliding Academy to provide these pilots with a professional framework and support.
The capricious weather at the start of the week didn’t dampen anyone’s spirits. All the pilots remained mobilized and motivated by this fine event in the Grésivaudan valley, which also spilled over into the Combe de Savoie. They tackled the obstacles seriously, with a positive individual and group dynamic. At the same time, they did their utmost to maintain a very good atmosphere, because living together is important!
We raced 3 tasks in varied, sometimes demanding conditions. Every day, everyone set their own objectives and gave themselves the means to achieve them. Aquilae – Performance Paragliding Academy was on hand in the morning for the weather report and individual instructions, on the take-offs for the task briefings, and at the end of the day to lead the debriefings, which were rich in emotion and experience sharing. Plus a few preparation and conclusion videoconferences!
